The ruins are in western Honduras, 184 km from the city of San Pedro Sula and 483 km from the capital city, Tegucigalpa.

FLIGHTS:

From the US, there are daily flights from Houston and Miami, and via Los Angeles via Guatemala City.

CURRENCY:

The currency is the lempira. As of May 2001, the exchange rate is about 15 lempira to the dollar.

DOCUMENTS:

You must have a valid passport, but no visa is needed for US citizens. There are no shots required for travel to Honduras.
